The last few years –  and ostensibly the next few years as well – have been and will be defined by a multitude of crises and markers of societal change:
the pandemic, war, inflation and an increase in right-wing ideologies. Consequently, especially marginalised groups may have come to notice a growing number of hate crimes. Each and every person in our society is obligated to take a stance against marginalisation and discrimination. Thus, many companies are actively thinking about taking a clear stance as well in order to create a Safer Space for their (queer) employees.

During this TOGATHERING, we will be focusing on companies’ stances and ways of communication regarding Queer Diversity.
Additionally, we will be discussing ways to actively bring those ideas to life in your day-to-day working environment.

With your help, we want to find answers and embrace new perspectives concerning questions such as:

• Which values and stances are important to voice in companies in times of crisis?
• How can companies create Safer Spaces for (queer) employees?
• What does good internal/external communication look like – especially when taking into account how thin the line between supporting a good cause/communicating values/Employer Branding and Pinkwashing actually is?
• How can you successfully and sustainably communicate your stance during pride season? Are there any Good Practices this season, which we can learn from? How can we improve?

We can’t wait to dive further into these (and other) questions with you during our TOGATHERING.
